      #BREAKING: Rebel Kofi will resign from his councillor duties to stand for the parliament in the province of Southern Counties for the Elfiz Party. President Grimwald has appointed Devon Albert (from Moderates, formerly The Nationals) as an interim councillor. He noted that he would not set an election date, instead leaving it to the president-elect of the 2024 election.

                  President Chai: It is concerning how acceptable it is in certain circles to threaten withdrawal from the European Union at any disagreement, with no effort for dialogue or discussion. No country should have such an immature foreign policy.

                          NET: #BREAKING: President Melissa Chai has announced that elections for Elthize's seat in the European Council will take place on November 1, 2024. The seat was previously held by Devon Albert as interim councillor following the resignation of Rebel Kofi to run for a seat in the parliament. Albert assumed office in July of this year after an agreement between CSD and Moderates.

                          A second round will be held on November 8th, if necessary.

                              Lorraine Devi: Is Elthize an independent country, or a Spanish colony? This question should not be hard to answer, but it seems like our political establishment disagrees, as they surrender our monetary policy to the hands of the Spaniards in the name of "common currency". Tear up the Treaty of Finisterre. Bring back the florin.

                                      @NET: Beck Rutland, head of the Forecoaster Police Department: Riots are "under control" in Forecoaster, around five-hundred people arrested. Curfew in place from 7PM-7AM in Downtown will be lifted February 10th.

                                      @lorrainedevi: The current administration has no problem running this country into the ground to advance their so-called "progressive" agenda. We have received the news that three more people have been killed by the Forecoaster police while exercising their rights to assembly and protest. Nonetheless, our fight will continue. This is my demand to all the policemen in Elthize: Do you have a backbone? Resign. Do not work for Melissa Chai. Do not raise your guns against the Elthics. Protect us. Fact check warning: The three people were killed during a fight between protestors and counter-protestors, including a bystander. The Forecoaster Police Department was not involved, NET and The Tribunal confirms.

                                      @m_chai: I thank everyone, in particular the governments of Leagio and Sertia, for their words of support during this difficult time for our country. We will win, and we will make them pay.
