Hello European Union!

The Grey Wardens completed a Weekend of Wargames with our friends in The South Pacific that included chasing/triggering, mock libs, game nights, and more! When we weren't busy impersonating each other and confusing most of GP, we played some CityGuesser and Skribbl.io to reassure ourselves that we don't know geography and can't draw. So, from what your ambassador in Tullion explained to my Minister of Foreign Affairs, your government is looking to gain better access to Leagioan Diamonds for luxury and Uranium for the development of nuclear power plants in transitioning your nation to more renewable energy. The Diamonds is something that I have no problems with in establishing an economic accord for with your nation. Now, the Nuclear Material is where it gets tricky because I am required by Leagioan law that was passed last year by my predecessor to institute procedures on the trade of Nuclear Material, especially when dealing with trade of it for nuclear power plants. The Nuclear Trade Commission Act of 2020 requires that the sale of nuclear material to nations using them for power plants has to be observed until the plants completion. Now, how does it affect you in construction? Not much really. The observers are only to be at the construction site to ensure that the material is used for the purposes agreed upon. So if the plant has a design flaw or fault to Leagioan standards, the observers can raise the problem with your government but have no power in fixing that problem as the construction is the responsibility of your nation. The observers will not be there to cause problems, but to ensure that the Uranium is used as agreed upon as Mennrimiak is not ENAA approved nation for nuclear arms which places my country in a position to ensure that we are not involved in a unapproved weapons program; This is a concern that would have been to any other nation of similar status, not just yours Mr. Prime Minister. These procedures were made by my predecessor as a response to the threat from the Romain Incident last year, where a UNSR ship managed to sneak into our country and was about ready to ship out with Nuclear Material for concerning purposes." Spain announces the withdrawal of the diplomatic mission on Mennrimiak.

Good Bye Spain!

Yesterday the Ministry of National Defense announced its intention of closing the Spanish Military base that has been the center of some disputes, The MND said that the spanish base is a threat to Mennrimian sovereingty as the governments of both countries have diferent views that could in the future be bigger, the Minister of Defense then urged the national government to close the base and renegotiate the terms of the treaty that established the base.

Today in an emergency parliament session the MPs voted to freeze the treaty with spain and remove the base, the vote passed with an 80% of aproval,
its biggest supporters being the National party and the Comunist party, The Progressive conservative party that holds the mayority although divided voted on favor of the removal,
The Prime Minister adressed the matter in a press conference an hour later and declared the vote a step back on the betterment of relations with the Kingdom Of Spain, then urged the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) to contact the spanish authorities to prepare the closing of the base and to renegotiate the terms of the treaty
